The Beyond Collective: Accessible Healing

The Beyond Collective, a 501(c)(3) initiative of Beyond Transcendence, exists to ensure that no one is forced to pause their healing due to financial hardship. For many, the cost of therapy—whether through high deductibles, lack of coverage, or limited affordable options—creates a barrier to the consistent care they deserve.

Our goal is to make mental health care accessible, consistent, and culturally affirming for those who have historically been left out of traditional systems of care.

Through The Beyond Collective, individuals can receive support to help reduce the cost of therapy, while also being connected to affirming, trauma-informed providers through our trusted referral network. We work closely with Relinquish & Transcend Counseling + Consulting, as well as other aligned clinicians, to ensure care meets the needs of each person.

But our impact doesn’t stop with individuals.

We also partner with schools, grassroots organizations, and mission-driven groups that prioritize community wellness but lack the financial capacity to access trainings, workshops, or mental health consultations. We provide accessible support services that help build emotional resilience and collective care practices—regardless of budget.

The Beyond Collective supports individuals who:

✅ Are committed to engaging in therapy but are unable to afford the full cost
✅ Face high out-of-pocket costs or insurance barriers
✅ Are experiencing temporary hardship and need support to stay connected to care
✅ Belong to underserved or marginalized communities

1️⃣ Apply Online – Complete a brief application to determine eligibility
2️⃣ Review Process – We assess need and service availability
3️⃣ Connection to Care – If approved, applicants are connected with providers and supported in reducing therapy-related costs
4️⃣ Begin or Continue Therapy – Services are delivered through trusted, affirming therapists within our network, with support that eases financial pressure

We maintain a referral network of culturally responsive providers, ensuring that care aligns with the values, identities, and needs of the individuals we support. This includes both in-house therapists from Relinquish & Transcend Counseling + Consulting and like-minded partners.

We also equip community-based organizations with tools to care for their staff, students, and members through free and low-cost workshops, training sessions, and consultations—even when internal budgets are stretched thin.
